This was the first restaurant I ate upon my first visit to Santa Fe. I have to say I am very happy I choose this place! The food is delicious and the service is friendly and prompt. The portions are massive in the prices are cheap. It's location is a cute old school diner in a plaza. Perfect little hidden gem waiting for you to discover

Such a great find! Knew it was authentic from the smell when I walked in, and the food did not disappoint. Staff was super friendly, quick, and helpful. Ordered the adobada combo plate with sopapillas as recommended by my waitress. Awesome taste, perfect spice level!

My husband and I both ordered the combination plate with sopapaillas for lunch. We were given a choice of red or green chile sauce and requested the red on the side. We have found some of the food in New Mexico to be too spicy, and the red chile sauce was no exception. We ate our meal without sauce. Everything was tasty! The sopapaillas were a little thicker/more dense than at other places, but still yummy. Service was excellent. Our server seemed authentically friendly and happy. The restaurant itself was clean with casual diner vibes.

Hole in the wall yet roomy. Since I was a child (because I am not a cook) had not seen or tasted shrimp soup the way my grandma made. I found it here and it was delicious. A pupusa with bean and cheese was great!!! I definitely recommend this little restaurant. Obviously family owned! Thank you Yelp for helping me find this.

Great hole in the wall spot! Cheap and massive drinks (sangria was not great but margarita was decent!) Plates are good, food is very filling and hearty! You can't go wrong with a burrito or entree plate. Menu is very extensive. Staff was nice and answered all of our questions.

Authentic New Mexican food by Meow Woof exhibit. The salsa is so full of flavor that we aren't use to it! Good spice and lotta heat . Go green if you're a weenie but it'll still be hot! We enjoyed the service and the food so much. Great price for the food you get! Ambiance is divey but the food is lit.

So while visiting NM we were looking for some authentic Mexican food and on our search this restaurant popped up on our search bar that was only a couple of minutes away from our stop at the local Walmart. And they did not disappoint. Small hole in the wall ,nothing fancy but the old school diner type feel. Pretty wide selection of options to choose from. Service was good and we felt welcome. Kinda seemed like alot if regulars were coming in and out and some gentleman seemed to be chatting it up amongst each other enjoying thier breakfast and coffee with no one rushing them out. Tortillas? Geez straight out of the kitchen and yes when I asked for more I had to wait a couple of minutes because they were in the process of making more, worth the wait! Anyone that has had fresh homemade Tortillas knows what I'm talking about. Very reasonable and nice portions. Check it out if your looking for small and local and not a chain

This place is so authentic. Visiting town from Texas, I gotta say the food quality here is better. Had a chicken enchilada and a plate of Sopapillas. They were so delicious. Adding that the food price is reasonable (especially when inflation is high) and staff is friendly, I appreciate the dinning experience here.

Don't be fooled by the look of this restaurant. Top class food of New Mexico style food. We had a combo each and it includes everything we wanted including carne adovada, which is such a delight!!! Margaritas was similar to what you get in Mexico, very good. It's not sour or too sweet, just the right balance. The price for food and drink was very reasonable compared to what you might pay in downtown area. It came with sopapilla. It was god but we were so full that we took some home. Next morning we had it for breakfast but it got so tough even after microwave. We suspect it might.... At least we enjoyed it yesterday. We are very happy to find this hole in a wall restaurant. We highly recommend this eatery!!!
